Nick, a down-an-out reporter with a mind to debunk a stage magician's tricks for an article, gets pulled on stage and hypnotized in front of a live audience.
Nick, an alcoholic with a mind to get out of his loveless house for a night, gets pulled on stage by Hal the Illusionist and becomes an accomplice.
Nick, you really need to stop doing this.
